Ella (she/her) is a fourth-year student majoring in Political Science and minoring in International Relations. Originally from Austin, TX, her academic concentration is in political theory, with a particular focus on theories of power and intellectual history. When it comes to international affairs, she is interested in contrasting systems of government, political conflict, and theories of democracy. Her interest in international relations is largely shaped by her experience abroad in Kenya, Israel, and most recently the University of Oxford. Outside of the WM, her interests include running, reading (currently can’t get enough of Elena Ferrante), and animal activism through her former position as Co-President of The Animal Rights Coalition at AU.
