Paloma (any) is a second-year student majoring in International Studies with a minor in Arabic and History. Originally from Orlando, FL, their academic interests include international law, foreign affairs, and human rights. They take a particular interest in social and political developments happening in North Africa and the Middle East, as well as a number of social issues affecting Western Europe such as the treatment of minorities and immigrants. Aside from the World Mind, Paloma is a writer for the Pericles Institute, a director for the SIS Undergraduate Council, and a researcher for the Florida Highschool Model United Nations. In their free time, they enjoy reading, weightlifting, and managing theater.
